Perceptions of Safety - Wrexham 2016 |
Wrexham Public Services Board |
28 Nov 2016 |
03 Apr 2017 |
|
Why are we doing this?
Partnership Delivery Board Three (PDB3) brings agencies together with the over-arching aim of "Making Wrexham a place that’s safe and where everyone feels included”.
Whilst the multi-agency work undertaken by PDB3 is initially informed by plans published by the North Wales Safer Communities Board and the North Wales Police & Crime Commissioner, we realise that local people are best placed to tell us whether we have got our priorities right.
By responding to this survey, you will help PDB3 to:
- Appraise our effectiveness
- Assess whether our multi-agency work is addressing the things that make local people feel unsafe
- Identify where we can make the biggest strides towards achieving our aim

Respite and Short Term Breaks |
Wrexham County Borough Council |
31 Jan 2017 |
31 Mar 2017 |
|
Why are we doing this?
Respite care and short term breaks form part of the overall support available for families and carers and can be offered in a variety of ways, whether it’s for a few hours, week, month or occasionally to help sustain caring relationships and prevent crisis.
For the purposes of this survey we will use the term respite care to mean any services or practical support that enable carers to have a break away from caring and provide the individual with a learning disability or complex needs with a break.
We use the term carer to mean someone whose caring role is unpaid – generally they are caring for a relative or a friend, such carers are also known as informal carers
Your answers to this survey will help us plan how we will meet the needs of people with a learning disability and their families across Wrexham, Flintshire, Conwy and Denbighshire. Please complete this survey to help us improve the range of respite options available

Since signing the Armed Forces Community Covenant (AFCC) in April 2013, partners in Wrexham are committed to ensuring Armed Forces personnel past and present, and their families, are in no way disadvantaged when it comes to accessing public and commercial services and opportunities, for example, employment, housing, education and health care.
This survey will help us to evidence how many people belong to Wrexham’s Armed Forces Community, and how they wish to be served by the Covenant.

Currently, Dewis Cymru mostly holds well-being information for adults. The current section titled ‘children and families’ contains a relatively small amount of information for parents, families and those who work with them.

Childcare Sufficiency Assessment 2017 |
Wrexham County Borough Council |
01 Aug 2016 |
02 Dec 2016 |
|
Why are we doing this?
WCBC has a statutory duty under the Childcare Act 2006 to secure as far as reasonably practicable, sufficient childcare for 0-15 year olds to meet the needs of working parents/carers or parents/carers education or training that will lead to work.
Integral to this duty is the requirement to complete a Childcare Sufficiency Assessment (CSA). The objective of the CSA is to identify gaps in the provision of childcare and to set out actions to narrow these gaps moving towards a position of ‘sufficiency’ across the County Borough
