Why are we doing this?: Since signing the Armed Forces Community Covenant (AFCC) in April 2013, partners in Wrexham are committed to ensuring Armed Forces personnel past and present, and their families, are in no way disadvantaged when it comes to accessing public and commercial services and opportunities, for example, employment, housing, education and health care.
This survey will help us to evidence how many people belong to Wrexham’s Armed Forces Community, and how they wish to be served by the Covenant.
What do we want to know?: We want to know:
- The size and spread of Wrexham’s Armed Forces Community, because data about Armed Forces personnel is not widely collected
- Are there any issues that the Armed Forces Community in Wrexham commonly face?
- Do you wish to take part in further surveys and forums that will inform the focus of AFCC work?
